Deepa Bharadwaj

Hi! Thanks for stopping by. I’m currently working at a design firm in San Francisco, and graduated from UC Berkeley Extension with a UXUI Certificate in July 2020. I also have an M.Arch from the University Of Michigan. Having studied and practiced architectural design, I’m obsessed with designing and choreographing experiences for people, in both the physical and digital realms.

I discovered UX design during research for a filmmaking class I was taking at U of M, and was intrigued. I worked for two years at the top architecture firms in Chicago and San Francisco, and realized I was looking for more design flexibility, iterative capacity, and direct interaction with the users/clients.

I took the UXUI bootcamp at UC Berkeley, and found that I could leverage my inherent skills of empathy and user-centered design processes to create enjoyable digital experiences for users.

I’m currently looking for an opportunity to work as a UX designer in a super collaborative and fun environment. Interacting with users and understanding their needs to design human centric experiences is my jam.

Outside of work, I am an adrenaline junkie- I’ve gone skydiving, paragliding, parasailing- jumping off the Grand Canyon is next!
